The building on the right is the Road and Rail pub, with Charles Whitmore's carpentry business alongside it. It has now been demolished. The cart with the donkey belonged to Mr ~Donkey" White who delivered goods around the local village. On the left of the photo is the milkman. Eric Jacobs.
